The profession of pharmacy was invited to submit recommendations for changes in scope of practice to enhance interprofessional collaboration and assist members to work to the maximum of their scope of practice.

To facilitate discussion regarding the scope of practice review for the profession of pharmacy, HPRAC has developed the following documents:


Responses to Submissions by the Ontario College of Pharmacists and Ontario Pharmacists' Association

Individuals and organizations have responded to the submission made by the Ontario College of Pharmacists(OCP) concerning the scope of practice of pharmacists. Responses received by HPRAC are posted on the HPRAC website; however, HPRAC reserves the right to delete personal information to meet its obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O 1990, Chapter F.31.

The responses to the OCP submission are intended to provide comment and analysis of the proposals made by the OCP, and to present information that will assist in the review, and in the consideration of advice that HPRAC provides to the Minister. Responses are available in the language in which they are received, and will not be translated from English to French or French to English.
