Drug Regulations for the Profession of Physiotherapy


HPRAC has asked the profession of physiotherapy to complete a questionnaire on non-physician prescribing and administration of drugs under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991. Responses to Joint Submission on Physiotherapy

Individuals and organizations can respond to the above submission concerning drug regulations impacting physiotherapy by Monday, December 8, 2008.

Responses received by HPRAC are posted below; however, HPRAC reserves the right to delete personal information to meet its obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O 1990, Chapter F.31.

The responses to the questionnaire are intended to provide comment and analysis of the proposal made by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, and to present information that will assist in the review, and in the consideration of advice that HPRAC provides to the Minister. Responses are available in the language in which they are received, and have not been translated from English to French or French to English.
