Drug Regulations for the Profession of Midwifery

HPRAC has asked the profession of midwifery to complete a questionnaire on non-physician prescribing and administration of drugs under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991. Individuals and organizations can respond to the above submission concerning drug regulations impacting midwifery by Monday, December 8, 2008.

Responses received by HPRAC will be posted below; however, HPRAC reserves the right to delete personal information to meet its obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O 1990, Chapter F.31.

The responses to the questionnaire are intended to provide comment and analysis of the proposal made by the College of Midwives of Ontario and Association of Ontario Midwives, and to present information that will assist in the review, and in the consideration of advice that HPRAC provides to the Minister. Responses are available in the language in which they are received, and have not been translated from English to French or French to English.
