Accessibility Standards for Customer Service

The Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation (Ontario Regulation 429/07) is the first accessibility standard under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. The regulation came into force on January 1, 2008, requiring all public sector organizations which provide goods and services to customers in Ontario to comply.

HPRAC Multi Year Accessibility Plan 2016-2021

The Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council (HPRAC) has established a multi-year accessibility plan as part of its commitment to ensure the implementation of inclusive and accessible services to its stakeholders.  Our 2016-2021 accessibility plan outlines the policies and actions HPRAC will take to ensure our continued compliance with the directives under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) enacted under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA)

HPRAC is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities.  We will continue to meet the needs of people with disabilities by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility, and by meeting our accessibility requirements under legislation.

In order to meet and sustain compliance, we will review and update policies and standards on a regular basis to ensure services remain of high quality and are accessible.

The multi-year accessibility plan will focus on the following areas:

Information will be made available in an accessible format, upon request.
