Executive Coordinator

Brian has been HPRAC's Executive Coordinator since 2005. He previously worked in the ministries of Colleges and Universities, Finance, Citizenship and Labour, serving in such roles as Executive Assistant to a Minister, a Special Assistant for Community Liaison and a Research Analyst. He also was recently seconded as a Director of Communications for the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Prior to HPRAC, he was Vice-President of G.P. Murray Research (1997-2005) and Director of Policy and Government Relations for the Ontario Hospital Association (1990-97).
Jenny Chau

Jenny has been with HPRAC on a consulting basis since October 2007. With a multidisciplinary background that includes an MBA (Health Industry Management and Marketing) from York University, a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph and certificates in Bioinformatics and Chemical Pharmaceutical Technology from Seneca College, Jenny has broad work experience in software development and marketing and business strategy for organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, YORKbiotech and the University of Toronto.
Marc Jacquin

Marc joined HPRAC in March 2008 from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation, where he served as Project Manager and Research Specialist. Prior to that, Marc provided his research and writing skills to the National Research Council, the University of Ottawa and the Office of Senator Serge Joyal, P.C., O.C. Marc is fluent in both official languages, holds a Master of Arts degree (Anthropology and Sociology) from the University of Ottawa and an Honours Bachelor of Social Science Cum Laude (Sociology and Political Science).
Carrie Lee
Research Analyst

Carrie's educational background includes a Master's in Economics from Queen's University and an Honours B.A in Economics from the University of Western Ontario. She is a currently a Ph.D. candidate (Economics) at Queen's University. Prior to joining HPRAC on a consulting basis in October 2007, Carrie applied her economics expertise as a consultant with Maitland Consulting and as an instructor for Mathematical Economics and as a teaching assistant in the Department of Economics at Queen's.
Annie Schiefer

Annie has broad experience in project management, communications, education and special events planning. Her experience includes a variety of project management and administration management duties, among others, for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the Premier's Office of Ontario, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. Annie holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education from York University and is working toward her Master's of Education. Annie joined HPRAC on a consulting basis in October 2007.
David St. Louis

Prior to joining HPRAC on a consulting basis in October 2007, David served as Meeting and Communications Manager at the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. He holds a diploma in public relations from Humber College and has diverse communications and marketing experience that includes work for Stantec Inc., the Canadian Cancer Society and numerous clients as a freelance consultant.
Susanna Tam

Susanna most recently served as Project Manager at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences. She is also a physiotherapist, with clinical experience at Toronto Western, St. Michael's and Hillcrest hospitals. Susanna holds a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Science degree (Physical Therapy) from Queen's University and a certificate in Collaborative Studies in Health Services and Policy Research. Susanna has been a member of several health care committees and a key contributor on a number of research studies and posters. She joined HPRAC in April 2008.
Belliappa Teetharmada

Belliappa's extensive experience includes accounting and auditing work with Canada-based companies such as Shuttle Freight Logistics Inc., Infinity Technologies, TAXWIDE INC. and, internationally, with several companies in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Belliappa joined HPRAC on a consulting basis in October 2007, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mysore, India.
Barb Thompson

Barb's longtime service to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care began in 1981. She worked for several departments within the Insurance Division, including the Director's Office, Claims Division and Registration Division (under OHIP), before joining HPRAC's staff in 1993.
